I am writing to publicly express my support of Jimmy Ray Douglas for Fairfield County Council, District 2 (nonpartisan), and to urge others to vote for him, as I plan to do. I have known him all my life. We were classmates from first grade through 12th. He is a successful businessman. He not only says he wants to reduce taxes and eliminate wasteful spending, but as a businessman he knows better than most of us what that will require and how to implement those measures.
