BLYTHEWOOD (Feb. 18, 2016) — Mayor J. Michael Ross welcomed GOP presidential candidate Marco Rubio to Blythewood Monday when Rubio’s campaign bus stopped briefly at Lizard’s Thicket. While most in the crowd waited eagerly to speak with and pose for photos with Rubio, many waited in line for photos and a word with TV star Mario Lopez (right) who had joined Rubio’s campaign earlier in the day. Rubio spent more than an hour visiting with voters before heading back out on the campaign trail to Columbia and Washington, D.C.
